30 December 2005 SBS Transit ended its online auction, a part of its Christmas Double Promotion on 24 December 2005 with about 8,700 bids and saw 37 winners walking away with attractive prizes including the grand prize, a 20 inch LCD TV.

The Christmas Double Promotion which involves both the online auction and lucky draw have since saw more than 35,000 hits on its webpage by about 11,300 commuters. The grand prize of the online auction, a 20 inch LCD TV was successfully bided by Mr Ho Hoot Ti on Christmas eve.

Mr Ho who knew about the Christmas Double Promotion from the publicity posters placed at the bus interchanges said, I am very happy to win the grand prize, a perfect Christmas gift for me. The online auction is a very innovative promotion and I look forward to see more of such promotion from SBS Transit in the future.

Commuters who have not participated in the online auction can still look forward to the lucky draw that has $10,000 cash and 17 other prizes to be won. All commuters travelling on board SBS Transit buses and trains (North East Line, Sengkang LRT and Punggol LRT) are eligible for the lucky draw. The closing date for the lucky draw is 2 January 2006 and winners will be picked on 9 January 2006.
