SBS Transit passengers will, for the first time, be able to win attractive prizes just by boarding selected buses.
From 14-23 February 2005, commuters
need only cut out Lucky HongBao
promotion coupons which will be
published in The New Paper, Lianhe
Wanbao and Shin Min Daily News and
exchange them for a Sure-Win hongbaos
with the bus captains when they
travel on CityBuzz services C1,
C2 and C3, or Chinatown Direct CT8,
CT18 and CT28. Each fare-paying
trip is entitled to exchange one
hongbao for every original newspaper
coupon.
The grand prize is the latest mobile
phone Nokia 7280 worth $928. Three
winners stand to win a years supply
of the latest drink, Sprite Storm
worth $475 each, or 2 cans a day
for 365 days. Restaurant vouchers
ranging from $10 to $288 from Yum
Cha Restaurant and Soup Restaurant
also await lucky winners. Other
prizes include cash hongbaos of
$8, $18, $28 or $88, food vouchers,
gold plated rooster coin, sliced
pork and free bus ride on CityBuzz
or Chinatown Direct.
A total of 18 top prizes with value ranging from $88 to $928 will be given out in a special lucky draw cum prize giving ceremony to be held on the 25 February 2005. The top 18 winners will need to register to qualify for this sure-win draw.

About CityBuzz and Chinatown Direct
… CityBuzz are special bus
services that loop the city from
10 am to 10 pm daily, buzzing at
key city stops at a frequency of
10 to 15 minutes. From 7 to 23 February
2005, operation of service C1 will
be extended from 10pm to 12 midnight
between Marina Promenade and North
Bridge Road (City Hall Station)
to make it easier for the public
to make their way to and from the
River HongBao.
Chinatown Direct are convenient bus services that connect the Heartlands to the Heart of Chinatown. CT8 serves Ang Mo Kio, CT18 serves Bedok while CT28 serves Clementi.
