To better serve the travelling needs of shoppers this festive season, SBS Transit is extending the operating hours of CityBuzz Service C1, Chinatown Direct Services as well as the rail service. 

Bus Service
To Singapore River HongBao - Extension of operating hours and introduction of shortworking trips for CityBuzz Service C 1 

To make it easier for the public to make their way to and from the River Hongbao, shortworking trips will be introduced on CityBuzz Service C1 to operate between Marina Centre and North Bridge Road (City Hall Station). The operating hours will also be extended from 10.10 pm to 12.00 midnight for the period from 7 to 23 February 2005.

All the CityBuzz services, C1, C2 and C3, call at Marina Promenade, opposite Oriental Hotel and provide door-to-door services for those going to the Singapore River HongBao. These services also make travelling within the city area more convenient. For example, Service C 1 facilitates the visiting public to travel between Singapore River HongBao and Great World City / Orchard corridor; Service C2 between Singapore River HongBao and the Chinese New Year Bazaar in Chinatown; Service C3 between Singapore River HongBao and Bugis Village.

To Chinatown Chinese New Year Bazaar – Extension of operating hours for Chinatown Direct services CT 8, CT 18 and CT 28

The operating hours of the three Chinatown Direct services will be extended to midnight for the period between 29 January to
7 February 2005 as follows:

The three Chinatown Direct services provide connections to Chinatown from Ang Mo Kio, Bedok and Clementi.

Rail Service
Extension of operating hours for North East Line as well as Sengkang and Punggol LRT

North East Line train service will be extended between 4 to 7 February 2005. The last train will depart at Chinatown Station at 1.00 am for both directions to Punggol and Harbour Front. 

The operating hours for Sengkang and Punggol LRT will also be extended for the same period between 4 to 7 February 2005. The last train will leave the Town Centre stations at 1.31 am and 1.33 am at Sengkang and Punggol respectively.
