1. What is this promotion about?

2. Who can participate?
All concession e-stamp users, non-concession ez-Link cardholders and SeasonPass cardholders. SeasonPass cardholders must possess a January/February 2007 stamp.

3. How to participate?
Participants can register using your NRIC and ez-link card number.

Please note that participants must have their SeasonPass and/or ez-link card registered under their respective NRIC and name. SBS Transit reserves the right to disqualify participants in breach of the above-mentioned rule.

4. When is the promotional period?
The promotional period is from 8 January to 28 February 2007 where participants can earn bonus Transit Dollars by taking our selected bus, NEL and LRT rides.

Qualifying period for bonus Transit Dollars: 05:00 hrs, 8 January - 23:59 hrs, 23 February 2007.

Qualifying period for carried forward Transit Dollars: 05:00 hrs, 6 November 2006 – 23:59 hrs, 23 February 2007.

6. Can Transit Dollars/Tokens earned from previous promotion be used?
YES! In line with this prosperous festive season, participants can accumulate un-used Transit Dollars/ Transit Tokens from 6 November 2006 for this auction!

Bonus Transit Dollars/Tokens earned during the previous campaign (Christmas Board & Bid 2006) will be carried forward to this promotion.

7. How do SeasonPass cardholders earn Transit Dollars?
SeasonPass cardholders who purchased at least one SeasonPass stamp from January 2007 are entitled to a maximum of 300 Transit Dollars!

Participants must register online in order to check on their Transit Dollars earned.

8. Can participants combine Transit Dollars earned from ez-link card and SeasonPass?
YES! Participants can combine Transit Dollars earned from ez-link card and SeasonPass if:

9. Can participants combine Transit Dollars/Tokens earned from different ez-link cards?
No. Participants can only bid with Transit Dollars/Tokens registered under one NRIC/ez-link card.

10. Can participants combine Transit Dollars earned from an ez-link card that is registered under one NRIC with a SeasonPass that is registered under another NRIC?
No. Participants can only bid with Transit Dollars registered under one NRIC/ez-link card.

SBS Transit reserves the rights to disqualify participants who breach the above-mentioned rules.

11. What are Transit Tokens?
Concession cardholders earn Transit Tokens by having a valid tap-in on boarding and a valid tap-out upon alighting.

Participants must register online in order to check on their Transit Tokens earned.

Note: Qualifying period for accumulated Transit Tokens: 05:00 hrs, 6 November 2006 – 23:59 hrs, 23 February 2007.

12. Can concession e-stamp users purchase SeasonPass and combine Transit Dollars with Transit Tokens?
No. However, concession e-stamp users can bid in both auctions as long as they qualify for the promotion.

13. How do participants check their Transit Dollars/Tokens?
Participants can check on their Transit Dollars/Tokens here.

Display of Transit Dollars/Tokens earned will have an approximate time lag of 5 days. For example, Transit Dollars/Tokens shown on 16 Jan are for travel from 6 - 10 Jan 2007.

14. Do Concession e-stamp users earn bonus Transit Tokens?
No. Concession e-stamp users do not earn bonus Transit Tokens even when they commute on buses and trains designated for bonus Transit Dollars.

16. Where/how do I participate in the “Live Bid” on 10 February 2007?
Come down Toa Payoh bus interchange on 10 February 2007, 1 – 4 pm. We will be located below CD-rama.

Participants can also register at Toa Payoh bus interchange on 10 Feb between 1 - 4 pm. Remember to bring along your original NRIC, ez-link card, and/or SeasonPass with a January/February stamp affixed.

Note: SeasonPass holders must register before 12 midnight to check the total Transit Dollars the next day.

17. I registered a January/February SeasonPass stamp but there is no increase in my Transit Dollars?
A maximum of 300 Transit dollars will be added the next working day if the participant register before 12 midnight the day before.

18. Can a participant win more than once?
No.

19. Can a participant bid more than once?
Participants can bid in a few items but only the maximum of 1 prize can be won by an individual. Winner will not be able to win again.

20. How will the auction be conducted?
The auction will be based on a closed bidding system. Hence, the current highest bid will not be reflected on the website. Once a bid is submitted, you are not allowed to modify your bid.

The highest bid for each item received before close of bidding will be the winning bid. Transit Dollars/Tokens will only be permanently deducted from the ez-link card of the winning bidder. In the event of a tie, the earlier bid will be considered the winning bid.

Once there is a successful bid, the accumulated Transit Dollars/Tokens will be reduced accordingly by the submitted bid for the item.

No Transit Dollars/Tokens will be deducted for any unsuccessful bidding and these Transit Dollars/Tokens will be returned to you the next working day after the auction date.

21. When are the auction results/collection of prizes?
Auction results will be shown online at 12 pm the next working day. Winners will be notified by email on the collection of prizes.

22. Can the Transit Dollars/Tokens be carried forward for future promotions?
No. Unless stated otherwise, Transit Dollars/Tokens cannot be carried forward for future promotions.

23. Where/when to claim the prizes?
Winners can collect their prizes at 205 Braddell Road Singapore 579701. However, winners will be published online and notified via email on the collection date.

Neither SBS Transit nor its partners provide delivery services. However, third-party delivery can be arranged for a fee of S$35. (Delivery fee subjected to changes.)

TERMS & CONDITIONS

GENERAL

a) The employees of ComfortDelGro Corporation Ltd and its subsidiary companies shall not be eligible for the Online Auction promotion.

b) It is the customer’s responsibility to provide to SBS Transit current, complete and accurate information and to keep such information up-to-date. SBS Transit cannot and will not be responsible for any problems that may arise or be liable in any way if information provided by the customer is not current, complete or accurate.

c) The Online Auction promotion shall be carried out in accordance with these terms and conditions and SBS Transit may from time to time amend, vary or supplement these terms and conditions and update such changes accordingly at the SBS Transit website.

d) Registration for participation in the Online Auction shall be deemed and construed as acceptance and agreement on the part of the participating customer to be bound by all the terms and conditions pertaining to the Online Auction.

e) Registration of non-concession commuters and concession e-stamp users for participation in the Online Auction or checking of Transit Dollars/Tokens shall constitute irrevocable permission by such customers to SBS Transit and its subsidiary companies to use the information registered or available for the purpose of customer relations or promotion activities (or any other matters so determined by SBS Transit) without any liability, responsibility, compensation or notice.

f) All Transit Dollars/Tokens earned during the promotion can only be used solely for the promotion and cannot be brought forth to the next promotion.

g) SBS Transit may at its sole discretion at any time replace or substitute any item with another item.

h) SBS Transit shall, at its sole and absolute discretion, determine the colour and any fitting, fixture and accessory of the items. The winner shall accept the items on an "as is" basis.

i) SBS Transit makes no representations nor warranties whatsoever as to the quality, safety, suitability or fitness for purpose of any of the items auctioned. All implied warranties or conditions on the part of SBS Transit are hereby expressly excluded.

j) SBS Transit reserves the right to disqualify any prize claim if the winning ez-link card, concession pass or SeasonPass has been tampered with in any manner or not have a valid stamp.

k) All uncollected items shall be forfeited and no claims whatsoever for payment or compensation shall be entertained.

l) SBS Transit's decision on all matters relating to the Online Auction shall be final and binding. SBS Transit shall not be obliged to enter into any correspondence on any matter relating to the Online Auction.

m) SBS Transit reserves the right to use the pictures and photographs of auction winners and disclose and publish the name and any other particulars of all or any auction winners for publicity purposes and the auction winners agree to co-operate and participate in the activities organised by SBS Transit for these purposes, without any fee or compensation whatsoever.

n) SBS Transit reserves the right to suspend, discontinue or terminate the Online Auction at any time at its absolute discretion without prior notice for any reason whatsoever without liability.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

a) SBS Transit and its participating agencies shall not be responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, or browsers, whether on account of technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website (including SBS Transit’s website), or on account of any combination of the foregoing.

b) SBS Transit and its participating agencies shall not be responsible in any way to the customer for any direct or indirect or consequential injuries, losses, damages, costs or expenses howsoever caused, including without limitation those arising from:
