1. LUCKY DRAW
1.1 Qualifying Periods, Draw Dates and Last Date for Prize Claim
a) The promotion period for the Lucky Draw is from 4:00am, 10 Jan 2006 to 11:59pm, 12 Feb 2006. The Lucky Draw will be held on 20 Feb 2006 and the results at the SBST website at a later date.

b) The last day for the collection of prizes is 1 May 2006 by 12:00 noon.

1.2 Eligibility for Lucky Draw
a) All ez-link trips made on SBST buses and SBST trains (NEL, SKLRT and PGLRT), with fares deducted from Adult ez-link cards, Senior Citizen ez-link cards, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Student ez-link cards or NSF ez-link cards during the qualifying period as stated in 1.1a are eligible for entry for the Lucky Draw. Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Student ez-link cards or NSF ez-link cards with e-stamps are also eligible for entry for the Lucky Draw. Customers using shareholder or employee passes will not be entitled to participate in this promotion.

b) The promotion would be administered through the issue of Transit Dollars to customers equivalent in value to the fares deducted from ez-link cards and Transit Tokens for e-stamp rides during the promotion period.

c) Transit Dollars and Transit Tokens are issued by SBST at SBSTs discretion for the purposes of the Lucky Draw. They do not have any monetary value and can only be used for the Lucky Draw as stipulated by SBST.

e) The Transit Dollars or Transit Tokens accumulated on one ez-link card shall not be transferable to another ez-link card.

1.3 Issue of Transit Dollars and Transit Tokens
a) Transit Dollars are automatically issued upon complete entry and exit processing at the Entrance and Exit readers and fare gates according to the deducted value of the fare received by SBST (i.e. fare net of transfer rebate and fare apportioned to NEL). For example, $0.39 Transit Dollars would be issued for a deduction of $0.64 less transfer rebate of $0.25 from the ez-link card on a SBST bus. Users of concession e-stamps will not be issued Transit Dollars but are issued 1 Transit Token for each complete trip instead.

b) For an MRT trip from Orchard to Little India, only the portion taken on NEL, which is from Dhoby Ghaut to Little India, will earn Transit Dollars. Users of rail concession e-stamps for such a trip will earn 1 Transit Token.

c) On services listed in Annex A or Prosperous Orchard Road Services, bonus Transit Dollars and Transit Tokens will be issued. The total Transit Dollars and Transit Tokens to be issued in this case will be equal to twice that of other SBST services. For example, $0.78 Transit Dollars will be issued for a deduction of $0.39 from the ez-link card on service 7, which is listed in Annex A. Users of concession e-stamps will not be issued any bonus Transit Dollars but are issued 2 Transit Tokens for each trip instead.

d) On services listed in Annex B or Lucky Chinatown Services, extra weekend/holiday bonus Transit Dollars and Transit Tokens will be issued. The total Transit Dollars and Transit Tokens to be issued in this case will be equal to eight times that of other SBST services. For example, $3.12 Transit Dollars will be issued for a deduction of $0.39 from the ez-link card on service 174, which is listed in Annex B. Users of concession e-stamps will not be issued any bonus Transit Dollars but are issued 8 Transit Tokens for each trip instead.

e) The issue Transit Dollars/ Tokens described above is summarised below:

1.4 Checking Transit Dollars and Transit Tokens and Registration of ez-link Cardholder
a) The number of Transit Dollars and Transit Tokens issued can be checked at the SBST website www.sbstransit.com.sg starting from 16 Jan 2006.

b) Transit Dollars and Transit Tokens displayed will have a time lag of 5 days. For example, Transit Dollars shown on 12 Feb 2006 are for accumulated Transit Dollars from 10 Jan to 7 Feb 2006.

c) Registration is not necessary for customers to take part in the lucky draw. However, customers must first register their personal particulars in order to check the Transit Dollars and Transit Tokens accumulated during the promotional period. Instructions will be available at the SBST website www.sbstransit.com.sg.

d) The details to be provided for registration are as follows:

1.5 Conduct of Lucky Draw
a) The draw shall be conducted at SBST Headquarters at 205 Braddell Road Singapore on 20 Feb 2006.

b) A computerised draw system will be used to randomly select the winners according to the chances allocated to each ez-link card. Each complete Transit Dollar is equivalent to one chance for the Lucky Draw. Two Transit Tokens are equivalent to one chance for the Lucky Draw. The higher the Transit Dollars or Transit Tokens accumulated, the higher the chances of winning a prize. SBST's decision on the winners of the draw shall be final and conclusive. All Transit Dollars and Transit Tokens accumulated during the promotion period are considered to be expended will be set to zero at the end of the promotion period.

c) SBST reserves the right to draw reserve "winners" in the event that any winner should be subsequently disqualified for any reason.

1.6 Lucky Draw Prizes
a) Prizes would be as follows:

1.7 Publication of Lucky Draw Results
a) The results of the draw will be published on the SBST website www.sbstransit.com.sg, and displayed at SBST's bus interchanges, NEL stations, SKLRT and PGLRT stations.

b) SBST shall state the ez-link card number and card type of the winning ez-link card for the results of the Lucky Draw.

2. Claiming of Prizes
a) The prizes of the Lucky Draw must be collected by 1 May 2006 by 12:00 noon.

b) Winners of each draw must contact SBST via the contact number provided with the publication of the respective draw results to make arrangements for the collection of the prizes.

c) The winner in the Lucky Draw must present the winning ez-link card and NRIC or passport or any other identification document that is acceptable to SBST, when claiming the prize at 205 Braddell Road Singapore.

d) All prizes are not exchangeable for cash or products.

e) SBST shall, at its sole and absolute discretion, determine the colour and any fittings, fixtures and accessories of the prizes in each draw. The winner shall accept the prize on an "as is" basis.

f) The top prizes of the Lucky Draw will be presented to the winners by SBST, at a prize presentation ceremony to be held at a venue and on a date and time determined by SBST. The winner or a representative duly authorised by the winner in writing, must attend the prize presentation ceremony to receive the prize. Non-attendance at the prize presentation ceremony will mean that the prize will be forfeited without any liability, responsibility or compensation to such winners.

g) SBST makes no representations nor warranties whatsoever as to the quality, safety, suitability or fitness for purpose of any of the prizes awarded. All implied warranties or conditions on the part of SBST are hereby expressly excluded.

h) SBST reserves the right to disqualify any prize claim if the winning ez-link card has been tampered with in any manner.

i) All uncollected prizes shall be forfeited and donated to a charity chosen at the discretion of SBST and no claims whatsoever for payment or compensation shall be entertained.

3. General
a) The employees of ComfortDelGro Corporation Ltd and its subsidiary companies shall not be eligible for the Lucky Draw.

b) It is the customer’s responsibility to provide to SBST current, complete and accurate information and to keep such information up to date. SBST cannot and will not be responsible for any problems that may arise or be liable in any way if information provided by the customer is not current, complete or accurate.

c) The Lucky Draw shall be carried out in accordance with these terms and conditions and SBST may from time to time amend, vary or supplement these terms and conditions and update such changes accordingly at the SBST website.

d) Participation in the Lucky Draw shall be deemed to be carried out in accordance with the terms and conditions pertaining to the Lucky Draw and customers shall be deemed and construed to have accepted the terms and conditions for the Lucky Draw and to be bound by all the terms and conditions pertaining to the Lucky Draw.

e) Registration of ez-link cards for participation in the checking of Transit Dollars and collection of Lucky Draw prizes shall constitute irrevocable permission by such customers to SBST and its subsidiary companies to use the information registered or available for the purpose of customer relations or promotion activities (or any other matters so determined by SBST) without any liability, responsibility, compensation or notice.

f) SBST's decision on all matters relating to the Lucky Draw shall be final and binding. SBST shall not be obliged to enter into any correspondence on any matter relating to the Lucky Draw.

g) SBST reserves the right to use the pictures and photographs of prize-winners and disclose and publish the name and any other particulars of all or any prize-winner for publicity purposes and the prize-winner agrees to co-operate and participate in the activities organised by SBST for these purposes, without any fee or compensation whatsoever.

h) SBST reserves the right to suspend, discontinue or terminate the Lucky Draw at any time at its absolute discretion without prior notice for any reason whatsoever without liability.

5. Limitation of Liability
a) SBST and its participating agencies shall not be responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, or browsers, whether on account of technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website (including SBSTs website), or on account of any combination of the foregoing.

b) SBST and its participating agencies shall not be responsible in any way to the customer for any direct or indirect or consequential losses, damages, costs or expenses howsoever caused, including without limitation those arising from:
