To access iris on your mobile devices please key in www.sbstransit.com.sg/mobileiris for mobile phones or http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/iris3/pdanextbus.aspx for PDAs.

After inputting these addresses onto your mobile phones or PDAs, you will be given three options. You can select whether you are querying for bus arrival time at bus stop, bus departure time from an interchange or how to get from where you are or from a particular bus stop to your destination or a bus stop near your destination.

NextBus Arrival at bus stops

For bus arrival time at bus stop, you will need to input the desired service number and bus stop number where you would like to catch the bus. If you do not know the bus stop number, the following friendly functions are available to assist you.

A bus stop number search function is available under the "Not sure, click here". Under the bus stop search function, you will need to input the road name of the bus stop where you are catching the bus. After which, you will need to select the bus stop and the bus service from the list of bus stops and services provided.

Alternatively, input the service number of your choice and the system will display the two directions of the service. By selecting the desired direction, a list of roads and bus stops served by the service will be displayed. Simply select the road and bus stop of your choice for the next bus arrival time to be displayed.

You may also just key in the bus stop number of your choice for a list of services calling there. Next,select the service number of your choice to get the next bus arrival times.

Not sure what is the bus stop number? Please click here and indicate the road name for a list of bus stop description and number. The next time you are at the bus stop, look up at the top of the bus stop pole to locate the five-digit unique bus stop number.

NextBus Departure at interchanges

For bus departure time at interchanges, you will need to input the service that you are interested in and select the bus interchange where you are catching the bus.

Depending on whether you access this service on WiFi or via GPRS, different charges will apply. Please check with your service provider for the charges and how to enable your mobile devices to access iris NextBus. If you are regular user of certain bus services at a certain bus stop or interchange, you may wish to bookmark the result page after you have performed the query to save on data transmission charges when you next perform the query.

Journey Planner

To find out how to get from where you are or from a particular bus stop to your destination or a bus stop near your destination, you will need to input the bus stop number of the bus stop where you will be starting your journey and that of the bus stop at your destination. If you do not know the bus stop number of either the starting or destination bus stops or both, a bus stop number search function is available under the "Not sure, click here". Under the bus stop search function, you will need to input the road name of the bus stop where you are catching the bus. After which, you will need to select the bus stop and the bus service from the list of bus stops and services provided.
