With the operation of Sengkang LRT West Loop and Punggol LRT East Loop, three services in Sengkang and Punggol New Towns will be rationalised with effect from Saturday, 12 March 2005.

Enhancement of Service 163 and withdrawal of Service 371
Service 163 will be enhanced to ply along Fernvale Lane . At the same time, short-working trips will also be introduced during selected peak periods to ply between Sengkang Bus Interchange and Fernvale Lane to cater to the higher demands between these two areas. These short-working trips will carry the service plate of 163A.

With the operation of Sengkang LRT West Loop and enhancement of Service 163, Feeder Service 371 will be withdrawn and its last day of operation will be on Friday, 11 March 2005.

Withdrawal of Service 84
Service 84 currently plying between Punggol Central and Punggol Field will be withdrawn on Saturday, 12 March 2005. This is because it is routed along the alignment of the Punggol LRT East Loop and duplicates the LRT extensively. 

Passengers may take Service 3, Service 83 or the LRT for connection to Punggol Bus Interchange / NEL station or Punggol Field.
