27 November 2006 - 26 SBS Transit bus services will be temporarily diverted while three will temporarily cease operations with the closure of roads on Sunday, 3 December 2006 to facilitate the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2006.

During the closure of roads, SBS Transit Services 7, 10, 14, 16, 30, 32, 51, 56, 57, 63, 70#, 80, 97, 100, 130, 131, 145, 158, 186, 195, 196, 197, 401, C1, C2 and C3 will be diverted.
The buses of the above services will skip the bus stops along the affected roads. Passengers travelling to and from the affected areas can board and alight at the bus stops along the diverted routes.
Traffic Inspectors will be deployed at the critical junctions to assist in the diversions.
On the same day, Services 11, 400 and 402 will not operate during the period when the roads are closed. Service 11 will resume operations from 3.00 pm, while Services 400 and 402 from 12 noon.
