21 December 2006 – Selected SBS Transit bus and rail services will operate beyond the usual operating hours during the year-end festive period.
On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, SBS Transit will be operating four Special Services, EW1, EW2, EW24 and EW27 to complement the last train arriving at the respective train stations. These Special Services will serve residents in the major housing estates from 1.00am onwards. Feeder fare applies and valid concession cards can be used. Below are the details of the Special Services.

Due to the closure of Orchard Road for Christmas celebrations from 25 December 2006 1.00pm to 26 December 2006 1.00am, SBS Transit’s Bus Services 7, 14, 16, 36, 65, 111, 123, 124, 143, 162, 174, 502, 518 and C1 will be diverted. For more details, please refer to the route diversion map in Annex A.
On 31 December 2006, SBS Transit’s bus services 10, 57, 97 and 196 will be diverted due to the Marina Bay Countdown event from 8.00pm to 2.00am. In addition, bus stop 02061 along Raffles Ave (opposite Marina Square) will be closed from 5 pm to 2 am. For more details, please refer to the route diversion map in Annex B.
Notices will be put up at selected bus stops to inform passengers about the route diversion.

On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the last NEL Northbound train will depart HarbourFront Station at 1.36am and the last Southbound train will depart Punggol Station at 1.08am.
The last Northbound train towards Punggol Station and last Southbound train towards HarbourFront Station will depart Dhoby Ghaut Station at 1.45am and 1.30am respectively.
On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the last Sengkang LRT train will depart Sengkang Town Centre Station on both East and West Loop at 2.11am.
On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the last Punggol LRT train will depart Punggol Town Centre Station at 2.13am.
