17 August 2006 – On Sunday, 20 August 2006, a section of Kent Ridge Crescent (between the junctions of Clementi Road and Lower Kent Ridge Road) will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic from 4pm to 11pm. This is to facilitate the National Day Rally to be held at the University Cultural Centre.

During the closure, SBS Transit Services 96 and 151 will be diverted and looped at the roundabout near the junction of Kent Ridge Crescent and Lower Kent Ridge Road. As a result of road closure, these services will also skip a pair of bus stops along the affected road.
