Tips to commuters travelling to Chinatown by North East Line train service
Commuters travelling on the North East Line (NEL) to Chinatown on the said date may wish to pay attention to the in-train announcements. We would like to seek their co-operation by alighting at alternative NEL stations such as Clarke Quay and Outram Stations if the Chinatown Station is crowded. Clarke Quay Station is less than 300m away while Outram Station is about 600m away from the Chinatown Station.

In addition, commuters are also urged to take note of the following recommendations so as to have a more comfortable travelling experience.

  • To top-up their ez-link cards before making the journey to Chinatown.
  • Those buying the ez-link standard tickets are encouraged to buy the standard tickets for their return journey as well.
