Too good to be true? Well, it’s happening this school holidays. SBS Transit will be rewarding students with a range of stylish Apple products when they ride on SBS Transit buses from 11 May to 2 August 2006.

The “Win a Cool Ride Home” promotion is open to all Primary, Secondary, Junior College students, full-time ITE students, Tertiary students and full-time National ServiceMan holding the e-stamp concession pass. They will be rewarded with e-tokens when they make a complete ride (tap in upon entry and tap out upon exit) on our buses. They can use their e-tokens to either bid for our weekly auction items on our website, www.sbstransit.com.sg, or participate in a Grand Lucky Draw. Commuters riding on 96 selected bus services will get to double their e-tokens.

The weekly auction items consist of iPod nano, mobile phone vouchers and two Bonus items, the Apple Mac mini and Apple ibook while the Grand Lucky Draw prize is an Apple iMac worth $2,500.

Mr Ong Boon Leong, Executive Director, SBS Transit said, “Apart from injecting some fun and excitement into travelling on SBS Transit buses, we also hope to make use of this promotion to encourage commuters with e-stamp concession pass to tap out when alighting from the bus. This group of commuters tends not to do so since the e-stamp allows unlimited rides. It is important that all commuters tap their ez-link card upon entry and exit whether or not they hold concession pass so that we can collect more accurate statistics on the demand of our bus services and plan our resources more efficiently to meet the demand.”

All eligible commuters must register themselves online through our website, www.sbstransit.com.sg in order to participate in the weekly auction and Grand Lucky Draw. Another 10 bonus e-tokens will be awarded upon successful registration.
