SBS TRANSIT SERVICES FOR LUNAR NEW YEAR FESTIVE SEASON

9 February 2007

Selected SBS Transit bus and rail service will operate beyond the usual operating hours during the Lunar New Year festive season.

BUS SERVICES

• SBS Transit Chinatown Direct Services (CT8, 18 and 28)
  Three Chinatown Direct Services (CT 8, 18 and 28) operating hours will be extended for the period of 9 and 17 February 2007 as follows:

The three Chinatown Direct Services will not operate from 18 to 20 February 2007. Operations will resume on 21 February 2007.

• SBS Transit Selected Trunk Services in Chinatown
  The operating hours of six trunk services will be extended on 16 and 17 February 2007. The last of these services will leave Chinatown at 2am the following day.

• SBS Transit Special Services (EW1, EW2, EW24 and EW27)
  On the midnights of 16 February and 17 February 2007, SBS Transit will be operating 4 Special Services. EW1, EW2, EW24 and EW27 to complement the last train arriving at the respective train stations.

• SBS Transit Nite Owl Services (1N to 8N)
  On top of the normal operating hours on Fridays and eves of Sunday and Public Holidays, all eight Nite Owl services will also operate on 18 and 19 february 2007.
  
  Notices will be put up at selected bus interchanges to inform passengers about the extended operating hours.

MRT TRAIN SERVICES

SBS Transit North East Line

• 16 February 2007
  • The last Northbound Train towards Punggol Station will depart Chinatown Station at 1.00am (17 February morning). It will reach Dhoby Ghaut Station at 1.03am.
  • The last Southbound train towards Harbourfront Station will depart Chinatown Station at 1.00am (17 February morning). It will reach Outram Part Statiom at 1.01am.
    
• 17 February 2007
  
  • The last Northbound train towards Punggol Station will depart Chinatown Station at 2.00am (18 February morning). It will reach Dhoby Ghaut Station at 2.03am.
  • The last Southbound train towards HarbourFront Station will depart Chinatown Station at 2.00am (18 February morning). It will reach Outram Park Station at 2.01am.

Passengers who need timings of last trains can refer to the notice boards at the respective stations.

LRT TRAIN SERVICES

SBS Transit Sengkang LRT

• 16 February 2007
  • The last Sengkang LRT train will be extended to depart Sengkang Town Centre Station on both East and West Loop at 1.34am (17 February morning).
    
• 17 February 2007
  
  • The last Sengkang LRT train will be extended to depart Sengkang Town Centre Station on both East and West Loop at 2.34am (18 February morning)

SBS Transit Punggol LRT

• 16 February 2007
  • The last Punggol LRT train will be extended to depart Punggol Town Centre Station at 1.37am (17 February morning).
    
• 17 February 2007
  
  • The last Punggol LRT train will be extended to depart Punggol Town Centre Station at 2.37am (18 February morning).

Notices will be put up on the station notice boards to inform passengers about the extended operating hours.
