Singapore Fireworks Celebrations 2007 - 17 & 18 August 2007
For safety reasons and to facilitate the organization of the event, the bus stop along Raffles Avenue, opposite The Oriental Singapore, will be temporarily closed from 5.00pm to 10.00pm on both days.
42th Taman Jurong National Day Celebration - 18 August 2007
The stretch of Corporation Drive between Tah Ching Road and Tao Ching Road will be temporary closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, 18 August 2007 from 1.00pm to midnight.
As such, SBS Transit Services 30, 98, 240 and 246 will be diverted to ply along Yuan Ching Road. They will call at the bus stops along the diverted route but will skip a pair of bus stops along Corporation Drive — outside Block 117 and opposite Block 117.
National Day Rally - 19 August 2007
To facilitate the event which will be held at the University Cultural Centre, the junctions of Clementi Road and Lower Kent Ridge Road will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic on Sunday, 19 August 2007, from 3.30pm to 11.00pm. During the road closure, SBS Transit Services 96 and 151 will be diverted to loop at the roundabout near the junction of Kent Ridge Crescent and Lower Kent Ridge Road. Both services will also skip a pair of bus stops along the affected road.
