On Sunday, 26 August 2007, 28 SBS Transit bus services will be temporarily diverted due to road closure for the Sheares Bridge Run/Army Half Marathon 2007.
Between 2.30am and 12.30pm, these roads -- Connaught Drive, Esplanade Drive, Raffles Quay, Raffles Avenue, South Bridge Road, Shenton Way, ECP, Rochor Road, Temasek Boulevard, Temasek Avenue, Nicoll Highway, East Coast Park Road, Fort Road and Mountbatten Road -- will be closed to vehicular traffic.
With the road closure, bus services 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 30, 31, 32, 33, 36, 48, 56, 57, 80, 97, 100, 130, 131, 145, 158, 166, 186, 195, 196, 197, 402, 502 and 518 will be affected.
In addition, Service 11 will cease operations between 7.00am and 10.30am while Service 402 will only operate between Marina Station and Marina South Pier from 6.00am to 9.00am.
Passengers travelling to and from the said area can board and alight at the bus stops along the diverted routes. Traffic inspectors will be at the diversion points to assist bus captains and passengers.
