15 SBS Transit bus services will be temporarily diverted on 15 September 2007 from 3.00pm to 11.00pm due to road closure for the Mid Autumn Festival 2007. The affected roads are New Bridge Road and Eu Tong Sen Street, between the junction of Upper Cross Street and Kreta Ayer Road.
Bus services 2, 12, 33, 54, 63, 80, 124, 143, 145, 147, 166, 197, CT 8, CT 18 and CT 28 that ply through affected roads will be diverted to travel along Upper Pickering Street, South Bridge Road, Neil Road, Kreta Ayer Road, Outram Road, Chin Swee Road and Havelock Road before rejoining the normal route.
With the road diversion, the affected services will also not call at these three bus stops:
· outside Chinatown Point along New Bridge Road
·outside Pearls Centre along Eu Tong Sen Street
·outside Peoples Park Centre along Eu Tong Sen Street
Passengers travelling to and from the said area can board and alight at the bus stops along the diverted routes. Traffic inspectors will be at the diversion points to assist bus captains and passengers.
