Temporary Diversion Of Bus Services For Chinatown Light Up

15 SBS Transit bus services plying the Chinatown area will be temporarily diverted on Saturday, 19 January, from 2pm to 11pm, to facilitate the Lunar New Year Chinatown Light Up. The affected services are 2, 12, 33, 54, 63, 80, 124, 143, 145, 147, 166, 197, CT8, CT18 and CT28.

As Eu Tong Sen Street and New Bridge Road (between the junctions of Upper Cross Street and Kreta Ayer Road) will be closed to vehicular traffic, these affected bus services heading in the western direction will be diverted to travel via Upper Pickering Street, South Bridge Road, Neil Road and Kreta Ayer Road while those headed in the eastern direction will go via Outram Road, Chin Swee Road and Havelock Road before resuming their regular routes.

During the road closure, these affected services will not call at the bus stops along New Bridge Road (outside Chinatown Point and New Bridge Centre) and Eu Tong Sen Street (outside Pearl's Centre, People's Park Complex and People Park's Centre).

Passengers travelling to and from the affected area can board and alight at the bus stops along the diverted routes. Traffic inspectors will be at the diversion points to assist Bus Captains and passengers.
