Four SBS Transit services will be temporarily diverted as Clemenceau Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic to facilitate the Thaipusam procession which will be held from Monday, 21 January, 9pm to Wednesday, 23 January, 2am.
The affected services - 64, 123, 139 and 143 - will be diverted to travel along River Valley, Hill Street, Stamford Road and Penang Road before resuming their regular routes.
During this period, the bus stops along Clemenceau Avenue - beside the Sri Thanayuthapani Temple and opposite the Haw Par Glass Tower - as well as those in front of the Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple and opposite the Park Mall will not be in service.
Passengers travelling to and from the affected area can board and alight at the bus stops along the diverted routes as well as bus stops that are in service. Traffic inspectors will be at the diversion points to assist Bus Captains and passengers.
