On Sunday, 7 September 2008, seven SBS Transit bus services will be temporarily affected due to the AVIVA Ironman Singapore 2008.
Six bus services - 30, 36, 48, 518, 576 and 579 - will be diverted to travel on alternative routes when the following roads are closed to vehicular traffic from 5.00am to 1.30pm:
- ECP (towards Ford Road, from the West)
- Fort Road (towards ECP, from the West)
- Ophir Road (towards ECP)
- East Coast Park Service Road
As they will not be able to call at bus stops along the affected roads, passengers traveling to and from the affected areas can board and
alight at bus stops along the diverted routes.
In addition, Service 401 will begin its first trip at 1.30pm.
