On Sunday, 7 December 2008, from 5am to 3.30pm, 39 SBS Transit bus services will be temporarily affected when roads are closed for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2008.
30 Services – 7, 10, 12, 14, 16, 30, 32, 36, 51, 56, 57, 63, 70M, 80, 97, 100, 111, 130, 131, 133, 158, 162M, 186, 195, 196, 197, 401, 502, 518 and 579 – will be temporarily diverted to travel on alternative routes when the following road are closed to vehicular traffic:

Passengers travelling to and from the affected areas can board and alight at bus stops along the diverted routes.
24 Services – 2, 7, 12, 13, 31, 32, 33, 36, 51, 56, 63, 70M, 80, 97, 100, 111, 133, 145, 158, 162M, 175, 195, 197 and 502 – will also be temporarily affected as the extreme left carriageway of selected roads will be closed to vehicular traffic. As a result, these services will not be able to call at the bus stops along the affected roads:

- Change in Operating Hours
Three services will change their operating hours due to the road closures. Services 400 and 402 will only begin operations from noon and Service 11 from 2.00pm.
