On Sunday, 22 March 2009, six SBS Transit bus services – Services 30, 36, 48, 401, 518 and 579 – will be diverted when roads in the vicinity of the East Coast Parkway are closed to vehicular traffic due to the AVIVA Ironman Singapore 2009. Route diversions will take place when the following roads are closed from 5.00am to 2.00pm:
- ECP (towards Ford Road, from the West)
- Fort Road (towards ECP)
- Ophir Road (towards ECP)
- Part of East Coast Park Service Road
Passengers can board and alight at bus stops along the diverted routes.
