SBS Transit is giving away limited-edition earth-friendly bags in celebration of Green Transport Week 2009.
The designer-cool bags, which are available in three colours – white, black and green – are emblazoned with catchy phrases like “It’s Cool To Be Green”, “I Like Being Driven” and “Save The Earth As We Have Nowhere Else To Go”.
SBS Transit Executive Director, Mr Gan Juay Kiat, said: “We are constantly looking at ways to spread the Green message. The bags are a nice cheery way to do this and I hope our commuters will like them.”
Mr Howard Shaw, Executive Director, Singapore Environment Council, added: “SEC is glad to see that various companies are embracing the green transport cause, and getting involved in Green Transport Week through their own, independent activities. We thank SBS Transit for its support of Green Transport Week.”
The bags will be distributed at the North East Line Dhoby Ghaut Station and Toa Payoh Bus Interchange on Friday, 21 August 2009 at 8.00am and 12.30pm.
Bags will be distributed on first-come first-serve basis, while stock lasts.
