On Sunday, 6 December 2009, between 1.00am and 3.30pm, 44 SBS Transit bus services will be temporarily affected when roads are closed to facilitate the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2009.
29 bus services – 10, 12, 14, 16, 30, 36, 56, 57, 70M, 97, 100, 111, 130, 131, 133, 158, 162M, 186, 195, 196, 401, 502, 518 and six Nite Owl services – will be temporarily diverted to travel on alternative routes, resulting in some of these services having to skip bus stops along their regular routes, when the following roads are closed to vehicular traffic:

In addition, 25 bus services – 2, 7, 11, 12, 13, 31, 32, 33, 36, 51, 56, 63, 70M, 80, 97, 100, 111, 133, 145, 158, 162M, 175, 195, 197 and 502 – will also not be able to call at bus stops along these selected roads as the bus lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic:

- Change in Operating Hours
Due to road closures, the operating hours of three services – Services 11, 400 and 402 – will also be temporarily affected. Services 400 and 402 will start operating from 12 noon and Service 11 from 2pm.
