19 bus services will be affected by bus stop closures while the operating hours of train services on the North East Line will be extended during the S2010 YOG Preview and Opening Ceremony. The Preview will be held on Saturday, 7 August, and the Opening Ceremony on Saturday, 14 August.
Train Services
- Preview - Saturday, 7 August
The operating hours for the North East Line train services will be extended with the last North-bound train leaving Dhoby Ghaut NEL station at 12.20am. However, there will be no change in operating hours for the last South-bound NEL train leaving Dhoby Ghaut NEL Station at 11.50pm. For the Sengkang and Punggol LRT, the last train will be timed to depart only when the last North-bound NEL train arrives at their respective train stations.
- Opening Ceremony - Saturday, 14 August
72 additional train trips will be added to the schedule of the North East Line. These additional trips will commence from noon to end of service. At Dhoby Ghaut NEL Station, the last North-bound train will leave at 1.40am while the last South-bound train will leave at 1.23am. For the Sengkang and Punggol LRT, the last train will be timed to depart only when the last North-bound NEL train arrives at their respective train stations.
Bus Services
- Preview, 7 August and Opening Ceremony, 14 August
17 bus stops will be closed in phases, from 9.00am to 2.00am of the following day, due to road closures along Raffles Avenue, Bayfront Avenue and Esplanade Drive. This will affect 18 bus services - 10, 14, 16, 36, 56, 57, 70M, 97, 100, 111, 130, 131, 133, 162M, 195, 196, 502 and 518 - that ply along the affected roads.
On both days, Service 133M will cease operations from 2.00 pm.
