More than 20 SBS Transit bus services will be diverted this weekend due to road closures for the Youth Olympic Game's City Road Race Cycling event. As a result, these services will bypass more than 40 bus stops that are located largely along the Central Business District and the Marina Bay District. The road closures, which will be conducted on Saturday, 21 August from 1.00am to 1.00pm and on Sunday, 22 August between 1.00am and 3.00pm, will affect Services 10, 14, 16, 36, 56, 57, 70, 70M, 97, 100, 107, 111, 130, 131, 133, 162, 162M, 186, 195, 196, 502 and 518.
The three bus services - Services 56, 97 and 195 - terminating at the Marina Centre Bus Terminal will also be affected by the road closure. They will terminate temporarily at the bus stop in front of the Pan Pacific Hotel along Raffles Boulevard (bus stop code 02089) where passengers can continue to conduct boarding or alighting activities. However, boarding passengers should do so only when the bus is ready to commence a new trip.
The operating hours of Services 133M, 400 and 402 will be adjusted temporarily to commence from 1.00pm on 21 August and from 3.00pm on 22 August.
