SBS Transit will be making these route amendments as part of its on-going efforts to better cater to the travel needs of commuters. These changes will be implemented from Sunday, 30 January 2011.
Service 76
This is a loop service that plies between Yio Chu Kang Terminal and Siglap Road. With the route amendment, it will serve Marine Crescent and loop around Marine Terrace to provide greater convenience to residents living in the area. Hence, it will make three new stops - one along Marine Crescent outside block 45 and two along Marine Terrace in front of block 53 and opposite CHIJ Katong Convent. These three bus stops will provide residents with the convenience of being able to board and alight at the same bus stop for their forward and return journeys. This will spell convenience for residents, particularly the elderly, as they do not have to cross the overhead pedestrian bridge along Marine Parade Road to get home on their return journey.
The amended route, which will now ply between Yio Chu Kang Terminal and Marine Terrace will, however, result in nine bus stops between Marine Parade Road, from opposite block 57, to Siglap Road being skipped. However, commuters along these affected bus stops will continue to be served by seven services - Services 31, 36, 43, 48, 135, 196 and197 - which they can then transfer to Service 76 further down the route. With distance fares, they will not have to incur a higher fare when they transfer services.

Service 315
Service 315 currently plies between Serangoon Central and Serangoon North Avenue 4. With the route amendment, it will provide a new connection to cater to the needs of commuters working in the Serangoon North Industrial Estate. It will ply Serangoon North Avenues 4 and 5 before turning to Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 to get to the interchange. In all, it will make seven new stops along its amended route.
The changed routes will also mean that it will no longer call at two bus stops along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3 and Yio Chu Kang Road which are already served by other bus services. Travelling in one-direction along Serangoon North Avenue 4, it will also not call at two bus stops which are located in the opposite direction.

Service 410
This service currently plies between Bishan and Upper Thomson Road. The amended route will provide residents with a new and convenient connection to Sin Ming Road, Shunfu Road and Marymount Road. With this new link, residents will enjoy the convenience in getting to Shunfu Mart, Sin Ming Plaza and to the Marymount MRT Station. In all, this amended service will call at five new stops.
It will, however, bypass a section of Upper Thomson Road, when it travels between Bishan Street 21 and Thomson Road Post Office/before Thomson Ridge. This will result in three bus stops being skipped.
