In support of the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore this year, SBS Transit will operate its North East Line (NEL) train services overnight for the first time from Saturday, 3 December to Sunday, 4 December.

Trains from Punggol Station to Harbourfront Station and trains from Harbourfront to Punggol Station will run at a frequency of 15 minutes after normal operating hours on Saturday night. NEL services will essentially operate non-stop overnight. A total of 56 train trips will be added during these extended operating hours from 11.43pm on Saturday to 5.52am on Sunday.

The extension of operational hours is to provide participants, volunteers and supporters greater connectivity to other rail lines which lie on the main route of the race.
