^Terms and Conditions for Transfer Rebates
To enjoy a transfer rebate, a commuter must make a transfer within 45 minutes after tapping out of the bus or LRT/MRT. If the commuter failed to tap out when alighting from the bus, the 45 minutes is counted from the time of boarding of the last bus.
Transfer Rebates apply to a maximum of three valid transfers on a journey which must be completed within two hours.
For transfer between LRT and MRT, a transfer rebate is automatically given in one total entry and exit fare.
No transfer rebate is given when a transfer is made between buses of the same service number.
Transfer rebates do not apply to Chinatown Direct, Nite Owl and Stadium Direct services.
The same ez-link card must be used throughout the journey to enjoy the transfer rebate.
With the increase in transfer rebate, the maximum fare cap for a single bus journey will cease.
Children/Students will enjoy:
a) a 10 cents transfer rebate when transferring from a basic to
another basic service of a different service number. Basic
services refer to trunk and feeder services.
b) a 10 cents transfer rebate when transferring from a basic
bus service to an SBS Transit's Parks service.
c) a 44 cents transfer rebate when transferring from a basic
bus service to SBS Transit's Premium, Express or
Fast Forward services.
d) a transfer rebate of between 39 cents and 49 cents
(depending on the fare band) when transferring from a train
service to an SBS Transit's Fast Forward or Express bus
service.
