Singapore citizens and permanent residents of age 60 years and above holding valid concession cards are eligible for concessionary travel during the following off-peak periods:

Day Entry time
Mondays to Fridays 9.00am to close of operation
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays Throughout operating hours

Senior citizens' concession fare applies all day on weekends and public holidays but they have to start their journeys after 9am on weekdays to enjoy concession fare.
 

Concession Fares on Buses
Concessionary travel is not applicable for the following Services:
  • Fast Forward
  • Premium
  • Express
  • Nite Owl


Transfer Rules
  • Pay with an EZ-Link or NETS Flashpay stored value card
  • You may make up to 5 transfers within a single journey, with a 45-minute allowance between each transfer
  • You can take up to 2 hours to complete your journey
  • You can enter and exit the train network only once in a journey and
  • You should not take the same bus service number more than once in a journey
  • Senior citizens enjoy concession fare for journeys that start after 9:00 am on weekdays and throughout operating hours on weekends.
