Handling Emergencies

At Bus Interchanges and on board Buses

In Case of Fire
Alert our staff immediately.

  • In bus interchanges, you can find our staff at the Passenger Service Office.
  • In buses, speak to our Bus Captain.

Follow instructions from our staff. In emergencies, fire extinguishers are available for use in our bus interchanges and buses.

In Case of a Medical Emergency
Alert our staff immediately. 

  • In bus interchanges, you can find our staff at the Passenger Service Office.
  • In buses, speak to our Bus Captain.

If you are qualified to assist, inform our staff. In emergencies, first aid kits are available for use in our bus interchanges and buses. Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are available in all our bus interchanges. 

In Case of an Unlawful or Suspicious Behaviours
If you notice any unlawful or suspicious behaviours, alert our staff or the police immediately.

  • In  bus interchanges, you can find our staff at the Passenger Service Office.
  • In buses, speak to our Bus Captain.
  • You may also wish to dial 999 for the police or report via the SGSecure app.

For your safety, do not attempt to detain the suspicious person if he/she is holding a weapon, our staff can notify the police or Transcom.
 


At Train Stations and on board Trains

In Case of Fire
Alert our staff immediately.

  • In stations , you can find our staff at the Passenger Service Centre.
  • In trains, you may approach our Customer Service Officer on duty or if you are not in the same cabin, you may activate the Passenger Emergency Communication button and speak to our staff at the Operations Control Centre. The Passenger Emergency Communication button is located at alternate doors of the train. If possible, move to another car, but do remain inside the train unless instructed by our staff.
