Bus and Train services for F1 Singapore Grand Prix
Please take note of these changes during the 2013 F1 Singapore Grand Prix event, from Friday, 20 September to Sunday, 22 September.
1. BUS SERVICES AFFECTED (15 Sep to 23 Sep)
A total of 66 SBS Transit bus services will be affected as a result of road closures during the 2013 Formula One Singapore Grand Prix.
Bus Stops Skipped
From 15 to 23 September, 29 bus services - 10/10e, 14/14a/14e, 16, 32, 36/36a/36b, 51, 56, 57, 63, 70/70a/70M, 80, 97/97e, 100, 107/107M, 111, 124, 128, 130, 131/131a, 133, 145, 162/162M, 166, 174, 195/195a, 196/196a/196e, 197, 502/502a, 518/518a - will be affected due to road closures in the Marina Centre area. As a result, they will skip several bus stops along their routes.
However, Services 10/10e, 70 and 196/196e will continue to operate on their regular routes in the direction of Shenton Way only at selected timings.

Premium Services
From 18 to 23 September, SBS Transit's Premium bus services to the Central Business District will continue to operate as usual. However, due to road closures, these services will have to skip some bus stops along Cecil Street, Robinson Road and Fullerton Road and will terminate at the bus stop opposite PWC Building (03041) along Cross Street.

Nite Owl services
The routes of six Nite Owl services will be amended temporarily on 20 and 21 September 2013.
From 12.00am to 2.00am on these two nights, Nite Owl services will skip the three bus stops along Raffles Avenue and commence service from the bus stop in front of St. Andrew's Cathedral (bus stop 04167) along North Bridge Road. The three bus stops along Raffles Avenue are:
- 02101 Before Temasek Avenue
- 02051 Seating Gallery
- 02061 The Esplanade

Change in Originating and Terminating Stops: Services 97e and 195
From 18 to 23 September, the originating and terminating points of these two services will also be changed temporarily.
Service 97e
During the weekday morning peak hours, Service 97e will terminate at the Marina Bay Financial Centre (03391) along Marina Boulevard instead of the Pan Pacific Hotel (02089). As a result, it will skip the five bus stops along Bayfront Avenue, Temasek Avenue, Temasek Boulevard and Raffles Boulevard.
On weekday evening peak hours, it will start service at the bus stop after Marina Station Road (03539) along Central Boulevard instead of the bus stop before Temasek Avenue (02101) along Raffles Avenue. It will then skip eight bus stops along Raffles Avenue, Temasek Boulevard, Temasek Avenue and Bayfront Avenue.

Service 195
Service 195 will be amended to operate from the New Bridge Road Terminal instead of Marina Centre Terminal due to road closures. Its route will be temporarily diverted and will call at nine new stops along Eu Tong Sen Street and New Bridge Road. It will skip seven bus stops on its regular route along Raffles Avenue, North Bridge Road, North Boat Quay, Parliament Place and Raffles Boulevard.

iris NextBus
From 18 to 23 September, iris NextBus will not be available for the affected 66 bus services, Premium Services and Nite Owl Services.
Passengers who query iris via SMS for any of the affected services during this period will receive an SMS informing them that the bus arrival information is not available. This incoming SMS will not be charged.
During this F1 period, commuters may experience some service disruptions/delays in their travel due to road closures. We seek their kind understanding.
2. SPECIAL BUS SERVICES AND EXTENSION OF TRAIN HOURS (20 Sep to 22 Sep)
Train Services
North East Line (NEL)
From 20 to 22 September, train operating hours will be extended by more than an hour with 206 more trips operated. The last train schedule is as follows:

Train frequency will be enhanced to five minutes from after the evening peak hour to midnight on Friday and from noon to midnight on Saturday and Sunday. After midnight, trains will run at a frequency of six minutes on all the three evenings.
LRT
The last train for Sengkang and Punggol LRT will depart only after the last NEL train arrives at their respective stations. This last train is scheduled as follows:

Bus Services
During this F1 period, four special bus services to serve residents in the heartlands will be operated to complement the extended MRT hours charging a flat fare of $1.50 per ride.
These are in addition to the Nite Owl services that operate on Friday and Saturday evenings.
