Bus services affected by lane/road closures for Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon

Twenty-eight SBS Transit bus services will be affected by lane/road closures for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2019, this weekend, 30 November and 1 December 2019.

On Saturday, 30 November, the routes of 22 bus services - 10, 14, 16, 30, 56, 57, 70/70M, 80, 100, 107/107M, 111, 130, 131, 133, 145, 162/162M, 186, 195, 196, 400, 401 and 502 – will be diverted progressively to travel on alternative routes from 1.00pm to the end of bus operations. They will skip bus stops along their regular routes which will include Bayfront Avenue, Beach Road, Nicoll Highway as well as those in the Civic District, Central Business District, Marina Centre area and East Coast Park.

On the same evening, the six Nite Owl services - 1N, 2N, 3N, 4N, 5N and 6N - will also be affected from 12.00am to 2.00am. They will skip the first three bus stops along their regular routes and commence service at the bus stop along North Bridge Road in front of City Hall Station Exit B (04167).

The following day on Sunday, 1 December, from 4.00am to 12.15pm, Services 10, 14, 16, 56, 70M, 111, 133, 162M, 195, 196 and 502 will similarly be affected by lane/road closures with bus stops skipped along their regular routes. The affected roads include Bayfront Avenue, Nicoll Highway and those in the Marina Centre area.
