NEL service delay on 8 September 2015

8 September 2015 – At 7.08am this morning, the NEL train service experienced a short delay due to a signalling fault between Sengkang and Punggol stations. This was rectified at about 7.20am. However, a second delay occurred at about 8.09am, resulting in an additional travelling time of about 25 mins. While we worked at rectifying the problem, we provided free shuttle bus services at designated bus stops at the affected stations between Hougang and Punggol. Free passing by bus services were also available. Full service resumed at 10.28am. We deeply apologise to all affected commuters for the inconvenience caused.
