Nine existing bus services to continue to operate from the Shenton Way Bus Terminal

Nine existing bus services - 70, 107, 128, 130, 133, 162, 186, 400 and 402 - will continue to operate from the Shenton Way Bus Terminal, which will be relocated to Shenton Way opposite the MAS Building, from Sunday, 25 June 2017.

These services will continue to run their regular routes but will stop serving the pair of bus stops outside the present bus terminal along Palmer Road. The affected bus stops are:

  • Before Shenton Way - opposite Hock Teck See Temple (bus stop code 03211) and
  • After Shenton Way (bus stop code 03219)

They are used by commuters to conduct boarding and alighting activities before the buses end their trips at the Terminal. With the relocation, this pair of bus stops will be permanently closed.

At the relocated Shenton Way Bus Terminal, commuters can board their buses from the Terminal, which is designed with boarding berths. However, there will be no alighting activities conducted within the Terminal. This means that the last alighting stop before the Terminal is across the road from the MAS Building, just outside the Terminal (bus stop code 03218). In fact, the nine services are already calling at this bus stop.

Publicity posters of the relocation of the Shenton Way Bus Terminal will be put up at the relevant bus terminals as well as on board buses of the nine services that operate from the Shenton Way Terminal.
