- Free rides on bus services and shuttle buses activated at affected stations

10 January 2013 – NEL service between HarbourFront and Dhoby Ghaut Stations is currently down due to a power fault. The fault happened at 9.51am which earlier caused a delay on the line. Engineers traced the fault to wires in the Overhead Catenary System in a section of the tunnel between Outram Park and Harbourfront. To enable repair works to be conducted, train services were disrupted at 10.14am.

Shuttle buses have since been activated to provide commuters with alternative transport. Affected commuters can also get free rides on bus services serving designated bus stops at affected stations.
