Premium and Nite Owl bus services affected by road closures for F1
From 16 to 19 September 2015, all our Premium Bus Services and six Nite Owl Services will be affected as a result of road closures for the 2015 Formula One Singapore Grand Prix.
A) Premium Bus Services
From Wednesday to Friday, 16 to 18 September, all our Premium Bus Services - 533, 534, 535, 536, 538, 539, 542, 543, 544, 545, 549, 552, 553, 554, 555, 560, 561, 563, 564, 565, 569, 585 and 761 - will skip the following three bus stops along Cecil Street, Fullerton Road and Robinson Road due to road closures:
- Fullerton Square (03011)
- Prudential Tower
- Opposite AIA Tower (03031)
They will also terminate at the bus stop opposite the PWC Building (03041) along Cross Street, instead of their regular bus stop in front of Fullerton Square (03011).
B) Nite Owl Services
On Friday and Saturday, 18 and 19 September, from 12.00am to 2.00am, Nite Owl Services - 1N, 2N, 3N, 4N, 5N and 6N - will skip the first four bus stops along their regular routes due to road closures:
- Before Temasek Avenue (02101)
- Seating Gallery (02051)
- The Esplanade (02061)
- St Andrew's Cathedral (04167)
They will instead commence service from the bus stop opposite The Treasury (04249) along North Bridge Road.
C) iris NextBus
The iris NextBus will not be available for the Nite Owl and Premium services as well as the 33 affected basic bus services during the F1 period.
Passengers who query iris via SMS for any of the affected services during this period will receive an SMS informing them that the bus arrival information is not available. This incoming SMS will not be charged. Similarly, this information will also not be available on the SBS Transit iris app and website during the same period.
During the F1 period, commuters may experience some service disruptions/delays in their travel due to road closures. We seek their kind understanding.
