Building on the foundation laid out in their initial MOU, signed in March 2018, the three companies will continue to leverage each other’s competencies and experience though mutual knowledge and technical exchanges, study visits, staff training and the sharing of best practices. These are geared towards enhancing rail engineering and maintenance capabilities while also developing new railway technologies to improve customer experience.
Mr Jeffrey Sim, Group CEO of SBS Transit, said: “This renewed collaboration reflects our unwavering commitment to providing top-notch rail services and delivering safe, reliable, and delightful journeys for our passengers. Our combined efforts have enabled us to achieve a level of synergy that is greater than the sum of our individual contributions. Hence, we are pleased to expand our collaboration with SBS Transit to further strengthen our partnership.”
Mr Yu Shih-chien, President of MCS said: “We are pleased to have the opportunity to join forces with two esteemed leaders in the rail transport industry, and we look forward to being strong pillars of support for each other.
