Train and bus services during the SEA Games (5 to 16 June 2015)
Train operating hours will be extended on the evenings of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the SEA Games. Road closures will also be in force during the SEA Games' marathon and cycling events.
SEA Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies (5 and 16 June)
Train services on the North East Line (NEL) and Downtown Line (DTL) will be extended by half an hour on Friday evening, 5 June 2015 following the Opening Ceremony of the SEA Games. It will similarly be extended on Tuesday, 16 June 2015, following the Closing Ceremony of the SEA Games.
On both days, the last NEL train in the direction of HarbourFront will depart Punggol Station at 12.02am, Serangoon Station at 12.13am, Dhoby Ghaut Station at 12.25am, Chinatown Station at 12.29am and Outram Park Station at 12.31am. The last train towards Punggol will leave HarbourFront Station at 12.30am, Outram Park Station at 12.33am, Chinatown Station at 12.35am, Dhoby Ghaut Station at 12.39am and Serangoon Station at 12.51am.
Services on the Punggol and Sengkang LRT systems will also be extended to coincide with the last train arrivals on the North East Line. The last train on the Sengkang LRT will depart the Town Centre Station at 1.05am while the last train on the Punggol LRT will depart the Town Centre at 1.07am.
On the Downtown Line, the last train in the direction of Bugis will depart Chinatown Station at 12.14am, Bayfront Station at 12.19am and Promenade Station at 12.21am. The last train towards Chinatown will leave Bugis Station at 12.16am, Promenade Station at 12.18am and Bayfront Station at 12.20am.
SEA Games Marathon (7 June)
Eight SBS Transit bus services - 10, 11, 14, 16, 30, 70M, 158 and 196 - will skip bus stops along Fort Road, Mountbatten Road, Nicoll Highway, Rhu Cross, Stadium Boulevard, Stadium Crescent, Stadium Walk and Tanjong Rhu Road on Sunday, 7 June 2015, from 5.00am to 10.00am
SEA Games Cycling (9 - 14 June)
SBS Transit bus service 400 will skip bus stops along Anson Road, Cecil Street, Central Boulevard, Marina Boulevard, Marina Gardens Drive, Palmer Road and Shenton Way on:
- Tuesday, 9 June 2015, 9.00am to 1.00pm;
- Wednesday, 10 June 2015, 9.00am to 1.00pm;
- Thursday, 11 June 2015, 2.00am to 2.00pm;
- Friday, 12 June 2015, 7.00am to 1.30pm;
- Saturday, 13 June 2015, 1.00am to 1.30pm; and
- Sunday, 14 June 2015, 1.00am to 3.00pm.
In addition, SBS Transit bus services 36 and 48 will also skip bus stops along Tanjong Katong Road South and Temasek Boulevard on Thursday, 11 June 2015, from 2.00am to 2.30pm.
For the road race, 17 SBS Transit bus services - 10, 30, 36, 57, 70, 97, 100, 107, 130, 131, 133, 162, 186, 196, 402, 502 and 518 - will skip bus stops along Anson Road, Bayfront Avenue, Cecil Street, Central Boulevard, Fort Road, Marina Boulevard, Marina Coastal Drive, Mountbatten Road, Palmer Road, Shenton Way, Temasek Boulevard and Temasek Avenue.
This will be on:
- Saturday, 13 June 2015, 1.00am to 1.30pm; and
- Sunday, 14 June 2015, 1.00am to 3.00pm

Service 405M to Serve the National Shooting Centre During the SEA Games
From 7 to 12 June, Service 405M will run between the Boon Lay Bus Interchange and Choa Chu Kang Road End to provide convenient access to the National Shooting Centre (bus stop 31009) during the SEA Games Shooting Competition. It will operate between 7.30am and 6.30pm, at a frequency of 15 minutes.
