Enhancement Of Service 60
With effect from Sunday, 7 November 2004, Service 60 will be enhanced to serve residents of Blocks 611 to 632 along Bedok Reservoir Road in the direction towards Bedok Interchange.

Currently, the service plies along the branch of Bedok Reservoir Road in the direction towards Eunos Interchange. As part of the enhancement, Service 60 will ply along the same side of the road when heading towards Bedok Interchange.

To help passengers differentiate the directions, the destination of Service 60 will be displayed on the front windscreen of the bus and the colour of the service plate will be differentiated in either white or red. The service plate for the direction heading towards Bedok Interchange will be white, while the direction towards Eunos Interchange will be red.

Mr Zainul Abidin Rasheed, Minister of State, Foreign Affairs and Mayor of North East CDC said, “This enhancement will be welcomed by the residents of Blocks 611 to 632, especially the elderly residents as the service will be stopping at bus stops nearer to them. My Eunos residents appreciate the positive response of SBS Transit towards their feedback.”

Mr Ong Boon Leong, Chief Operating Officer, SBS Transit added, “This is another service initiative resulting from our close working relationship with the grassroots.”
