SBS Transit introduces Vehicle Location System on ten more services

 

SBS Transit will be rolling out the Vehicle Location System (VLS) on ten more bus services on Monday, 4 October 2004. The bus services are 225, 229, 262, 269, 273, 292, 317, 333, 334 and 335.

Posters and decals will be displayed at Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Bukit Merah, Jurong East, Serangoon and Tampines Bus Interchanges where the ten services are operating from, to inform customers about the VLS.

The VLS was first launched on SBS Transit bus services on 30 July 2004 and it was subsequently rolled out to more services on 23 August 2004 and 17 September 2004. To date, 15 bus services have been introduced with the VLS feature. They are Services 3, 40, 194, 228, 254, 261, 265, 268, 272, 275, 282, 284, 285, 315 and 506.
