On Thursday night, one of our BCs driving Svc 139 was trying to wake a sleeping passenger when the bus arrived at the Bukit Merah Interchange. The latter suddenly turned aggressive and assaulted our BC. The passenger, who appeared drunk at the time, was arrested by the Police.

Such acts of violence against our BCs cannot be condoned and must be stopped and we will pursue all avenues to ensure that justice is served. Our BC has sought medical treatment and is resting at home. We will continue to assist him as he recuperates.
