North East Line
The North East Line (NEL) is the world's first fully automatic underground heavy rail system. Built at a cost of $4.6 billion, the NEL has 16 stations and is 20-km long. It commenced operations in June 2003 and serves the north east corridor from Punggol to Harbourfront.

Downtown Line
The Downtown Line (DTL) is the fifth Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Line in Singapore. The first and second stage of Downtown Line commenced service on 22 December 2013 and 27 December 2015, whilst the third stage opened on 21 October 2017.

The Line is about 42 km (26 mi) long, with 34 stations, making it the longest underground and driverless MRT Line in Singapore. It will connect the northwestern and eastern regions of Singapore to the Central Business District and Marina Bay, and reduce travelling time considerably. For example, residents in the west can zip from Bukit Panjang to Bugis in less than 30 minutes.

LRT Services
SBS Transit also operates the Sengkang and Punggol LRT systems. The Sengkang LRT has 14 stations while the Punggol LRT has 15 stations. Both the LRT systems consist of East and West loops and are fully automated. They serve to provide Sengkang and Punggol residents with a seamless transfer to the town centre to connect to the NEL or buses.
