Bus services affected by road closures for countdown celebrations 2019

The routes of 28 bus services will be affected on Monday, 31 December 2018, due to road closures for the Countdown celebrations.

1. BOON LAY COUNTDOWN 2019

On New Year’s Eve from 6.00pm to New Year’s Day, 1.00am, four bus services - 99, 240, 240M and 246 - will skip bus stops along Boon Lay Drive, Boon Lay Place and Corporation Road due to road closures for the celebration.

2. MARINA BAY SINGAPORE COUNTDOWN 2019

Road closures for the Marina Bay event will affect 18 bus services – 10, 56, 57, 70, 70M, 100, 107, 111, 130, 131, 133, 162, 162M, 195, 196, 400, 402 and 502 – which will be diverted from their regular routes. These services will not call at affected bus stops along Bayfront Avenue, Collyer Quay, Connaught Drive, Esplanade Drive, Fullerton Road, Marina Boulevard, Parliament Place, Raffles Avenue and Temasek Avenue, from 4.00pm on 31 December 2018 to 5.00am on 1 January 2019.

On that same evening, the six Nite Owl services – 1N, 2N, 3N, 4N, 5N and 6N – will be extended to operate until 4.00am. However, they will skip some bus stops on their regular routes along Raffles Avenue until 2.30am. The affected bus stops are:

This means that between 12.00am and 2.00am, the Nite Owl services will commence at the bus stop along North Bridge Road in front of the City Hall Station (04167).
