Train and Bus Services on Eve of Lunar New Year 2013

SBS Transit will be extending the operating hours of its train and bus services on the eve of Lunar New Year, Saturday, 9 February 2013.

TRAIN SERVICES
On the North East Line, the last train in the direction of HarbourFront will depart Punggol Station at 1.47am, Serangoon Station at 1.58am, Dhoby Ghaut Station at 2.11am, Chinatown Station at 2.15am and Outram Park Station at 2.17am.

The last train towards Punggol will leave HarbourFront Station at 2.09am, Outram Park Station at 2.12am, Chinatown Station at 2.15am, Dhoby Ghaut Station at 2.19am and Serangoon Station at 2.31am.

Services on the Punggol and Sengkang LRT systems will also be extended to coincide with the last train arrivals on the North East Line. The last train on the Sengkang LRT will depart the Town Centre Station at 2.45am while the last train on the Punggol LRT will leave the Town Centre at 2.48am.

BUS SERVICES
To complement the extension of the train operating hours, the last bus timings of 26 selected bus services - 51A, 60A, 63M, 181, 222, 225G, 228, 229, 232, 238, 240, 241, 243G, 261, 269, 282, 291, 292, 293, 315, 325, 333, 334, 358, 359 and 410W - will also be extended at their respective bus interchanges.

On the same day, the last bus of CT8, CT18 and CT28 heading to Chinatown will depart from their respective interchanges at 11.00pm instead of their usual time at 8.00pm. The last bus back from Chinatown will depart at 2.10am from the bus stop after Hospital Drive (bus stop number 10017) along Eu Tong Sen Street.

However, from 5.00pm to 3.00am, these three services together with 12 others - 2, 12, 33, 54, 63, 80, 124, 143, 145, 147, 166 and 197 - will be affected by road closures for the Chinatown Chinese New Year Countdown.

As a result, they will skip the following bus stops:
