Bus Services Affected By Road Closures For 2014 Formula One Singapore Grand Prix
From 14 to 22 September, close to 60 SBS Transit bus services will be affected as a result of road closures for the 2014 Formula One Singapore Grand Prix.
I) BUS STOPS SKIPPED
- Basic Bus Services
From 14 to 22 September, 27 basic bus services will be diverted due to road closures for the race. They will skip bus stops along their regular routes particularly in the Marina Centre area. The affected services are – 10/10E, 14/14A/14E, 16, 32, 36/36A/36B, 51, 56, 57, 63, 70/70A/70M, 80, 97/97E, 100, 107/107M, 111, 128, 130, 131/131A, 133, 145,162/162M, 174, 195/195A, 196/196A/196E, 197, 502/502A and 518/518A.

- Premium Bus Services
From 17 to 22 September, 25 Premium Bus Services – 533, 534, 535, 536, 538, 539, 542, 543, 544, 545, 548, 549, 550, 552, 555, 553, 554, 560, 561, 563, 564, 566, 569, 585 and 761 – will skip selected bus stops along Cecil Street, Fullerton Road and Robinson Road.
The affected bus stops are:
- Fullerton Square (03011)
- Opposite AIA Tower (03031)
- Prudential Tower (03021)
They will also terminate at the bus stop opposite the PWC Building (03041) along Cross Street, instead of the bus stop in front of Fullerton Square (03011).

- Nite Owl Services
On 19 and 20 September, from 12.00am to 2.00am, Nite Owl Services – 1N, 2N, 3N, 4N, 5N and 6N – will skip the following three bus stops along Raffles Avenue due to road closures:
- Before Temasek Avenue (02101)
- Seating Gallery (02051)
- The Esplanade (02061)
They will commence service from the bus stop in front of St. Andrew's Cathedral (04167) along North Bridge Road, instead of the bus stop before Temasek Avenue (02101).

II) Changes in Originating and Terminating Stops
From 17 to 22 September, the originating and terminating points of Service 195 and Fast Forward 97e will also be temporarily changed as a result of road closures.
Service 195
Service 195 will be amended to operate from the New Bridge Road Terminal instead of Marina Centre Terminal. Hence, it will temporarily call at 10 stops along Eu Tong Sen Street and New Bridge Road. However, it will have to skip seven bus stops on its regular route along North Boat Quay, North Bridge Road, Parliament Place, Raffles Avenue, and Raffles Boulevard.

Service 97e
During the weekday morning peak hours, Service 97e will terminate at the Marina Bay Financial Centre (03391) along Marina Boulevard instead of the bus stop in front of Pan Pacific Hotel (02089) along Raffles Boulevard. It will skip five bus stops along Bayfront Avenue, Temasek Avenue, Temasek Boulevard and Raffles Boulevard.
The service will also start its weekday evening peak hour journey at the bus stop after Marina Station Road (03539) along Central Boulevard instead of the bus stop before Temasek Avenue (02101) along Raffles Avenue. As a result, it will skip eight bus stops along Raffles Avenue, Temasek Boulevard, Temasek Avenue and Bayfront Avenue.

III) Iris NextBus
From 17 to 22 September, iris NextBus will not be available for close to 60 affected bus services, including the Nite Owl and Premium services.
Passengers who query iris via SMS for any of the affected services during this period will receive an SMS informing them that the bus arrival information is not available. This incoming SMS will not be charged. Similarly, this information will also not be available on the iris app, as well as on SBS Transit’s website during the same period.
During the F1 period, commuters may experience some service disruptions/delays in their travel due to road closures. We seek their kind understanding.
